Food Print

Don't know what a food fingerprint test is?

It is an analysis that reveals intolerance to some types of food, and helps identify foods that cause annoying digestive symptoms such as bloating, gas, diarrhea, and stomach pain.

How is a food fingerprint tested?

1. Follow a special diet:

Write a food diary that includes the foods you eat, specifying the time, and recording the symptoms you suffer from.
Link the symptoms that appear on the patient to the type of food that causes them.
Prepare a special nutritional plan for the patient based on the principle of avoiding the types of foods that cause symptoms.
Monitor the patient for a few weeks, and determine if the symptoms have disappeared.

2. Immune blood tests:

Taking a blood sample from a vein in the arm.
Exposing the blood sample to different types of foods, which are on the list of foods expected for food intolerance.
Measuring the levels of the immune antibody (IgG).
Identifying the types of foods that cause food intolerance.

3. Other tests:

Lactose intolerance: The individual drinks a solution containing lactose, and then breathes into a container every 30 minutes, continuing to do so for a few hours.
Motor response tests: Kinesiology, as food intolerance is expected to cause an imbalance in the body's energy balance, which causes an imbalance in muscle response.
Pulse test: Measure the pulse rate before eating the suspected food, then measure it again a quarter of an hour after eating.
